Doll-A-Day 2017 #14 Shrunken Saturday: Li'l Me Valerie and Angie

Today's doll is two, these two girls. They still need a good clean up, so, sorry.

They used to be labeled here as 'mystery dolls',but I have just found out that they are Li'l Me dolls. They are unmarked, but they were made by Schaper. The dolls are a firm plastic and the skirts are rubber.
Unmarked, but they have these little flowers on their bottoms.
The blonde is Valerie, and the red head is Angie. There was also an African American doll named Cathy. There were a few different types of packaging, including blister cards and boxes.
They stand about 3 1/2" tall.Their legs are made in one piece and their arms don't move.

Their skirts slide on and off and can stand up by themselves.

The skirts and the dolls, that is.
They originally came with skirts, capes or collars, and hats with attached hair pieces.
I just like their faces.

There was also a Li'l Boutique available,as well as clothing sets.

The company was so certain children would LOVE these dolls that they offered a 'fun and dressability guarantee'.

'This is a limited warranty'. Not very! Gee.
I'm glad to finally find out who these girls are.
